Mission Reform'n'ation

  “There will come a time in your life when you will feel everything is finished... THAT will be the beginning !” The time of this century that we are living through is a tough one, with vices having seeped into every stratum of the society. Malnutrition, poverty, over-population, pollution, decreased living standards are a few vices to recollect. Considering the present state of affairs of our Environment & Society, |The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay| as a part of its took an initiative called Reform'n'ation.

   
  As the name suggests, Reform'n'ation aims to bring about changes in various sections of the society in terms of betterment in the standards of living. It encompasses five genres of our society: 

•        Holistic Development of Child
•       Sustainability
•      Rights
•       Healthful living
•       Miscellaneous

   
   A total of 100 tasks have been floated in this regard. The tasks range from Easy, Medium to Hard and points are awarded for each task. Every participating college is required to have only one team with a minimum of 7 members per team. This team is required to effectively carry out the various tasks in concerned areas and they would represent the college in Reform'n'ation.

    Final top five teams would be selected; who after a final show of the efforts they have put in all along, through a Presentation of the work done at the Techfest, would be finally judged. The final presentation consists of 250 points. Teams which have done at least 5 tasks from each section will be awarded a Certificate of Participation. To reach out to a larger audience, additional 50 points would be given on media articles on campaigns conducted.
